Multi-Instrumentalist | Arranger |
Kely builds her music from silence, listening, and a deep curiosity about the world.
With an honest and sensitive approach, she creates songs that hold both intimacy and depth, balancing sophistication with lightness. A multi instrumentalist, vocalist, arranger, and producer, she moves fluidly between classical roots and contemporary sound, guided by a constant search for truth and musical integrity. From her beginnings in a non-profit organization in Brazil at age five to a full scholarship at Berklee College of Music and an international career spanning Broadway, global tours, and a world tour with David Byrne, Kely transforms movement, identity, and lived experience into music that invites you closer.
Tiny Desk Concert w/
David Byrne
Check out my latest performance with David Byrne at NPR!
It's cozy, but Byrne and our band, in matching, brilliant blue suits, squeezed behind the Desk to perform four songs, opening with the euphoric "Everybody Laughs," followed by "Don't Be Like That," both from his new album.
We also performed two Talking Heads songs: "(Nothing But) Flowers," from the 1988 album Naked, and a show-stopping version of "Life During Wartime," from 1979's Fear of Music.
